Marino is well known within Catholic circles for his amazing testimony and conversion back to the Catholic Faith. In The 90’s Marino was kidnapped in his hometown by a Columbian cartel and was held in captivity for several months. But through this awful and terrifying experience, God revealed himself to Marino and He received an illumination of conscience and infused knowledge of the Faith.
