The nihil obstat for Medjugorje, the jubilee year & more

In this conversation Kathy & Carol share on the great news from the Magisterium on Medjugorje, the coming Jubilee year in the church and on Divine Will. Kathy shares that from 4th March 2024, which is the Anniversary of Luisa Piccarreta’s death, somebody paid for 100 Divine Will masses to be said ending in June 2024.

In June 2024 the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith issued the Nihil Obstat for the resumption of the cause of the Beatification of Luisa Piccarreta which was formally notified on 8th July 2024. Before the Anniversary of Medjugorje in June 2024, Our Lady called all the faithful to prayer on the Hill of Apparitions. Kathy shared that it felt like Our Lady knew that Luisa’s Cause for Beatification was back on track and that there were talks about the Nihil Obstat for Medjugorje. The Vatican, the local Bishop of Mostar and the Apostolic Visitor here in Medjugorje are all on the same page.

The Bishop of Mostar has invited the Holy Father to visit his diocese and in this country an invitation usually has to be accepted. Next year, we as pilgrims are invited to Rome or Medjugorje on pilgrimage as it is a year of reconciliation. We are also invited to accept the love and mercy of God with these great graces that have been given to us and the church in these times.
